SAA Oliver Wendell Holmes Travel Award

Do you know someone who could benefit from the SAA Oliver Wendell Holmes Travel Award? The Award enables students (or archivists) from abroad who are taking part in archival training or education programs in the U.S. or Canada to attend the annual meeting of the Society of American Archivists. This year the meeting is in Chicago.

For more information about this and other awards sponsored by SAA, please visit the Awards Committee’s website at http://www.archivists.org/recognition/awards.asp. Application forms for this award can also be found at this site, and must be completed and mailed by February 28, 2007.

We would be pleased to receive applications from any eligible students and would greatly appreciate any help you could give us by bringing this award to the attention of such students, whether individually or by sharing the enclosed announcement on your departmental bulletin board or listserv.

If you have any questions about this award that I could be of help with, please feel free to contact me by e-mail at jgraham@library.ucla.edu, or phone me at (310) 206-2753. Thank you in advance for your help.

With best regards,

Julie Graham
